This delightful family cottage has been extensively converted and enlarged from a traditional Lakeland stone building. It retains a character all of its own with its exposed timber beams and typically rustic Lakeland surroundings. Birch Cottage is fully detached from the rest of Deloraine Holiday Homes and features a sun terrace facing the orchard lawn, surrounded by landscaped garden acres.

The fully equipped open plan kitchen/living room has all the home comforts, including a fridge / freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle, grill, microwave and plenty of storage space. The large dining table has comfortable seating for six.

There is a Widescreen TV, and DVD player which can be viewed from dining table, easy chairs and settee. Additional furniture in the room includes a wardrobe, side tables, coffee table and bookcase. This delightful sun filled room looks out on to the beautiful gardens and grounds.

The shower room is well appointed and features a tiled floor with a walk-in shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet. The characterful bedrooms feature rustic oak timber beams, the main bedroom has a deluxe four-poster bed and furnishings, the second bedroom has two single beds with plenty of storage in both rooms.

The cottage has a private car park which is both conveniently close and on level ground that provides easy access to the door. This cottage is ideal for those with a family, a disability or the elderly.
The cottage sleeps up to 6 persons inculding a cot.
